Turkey: Women guerrillas in action

The female guerrilla group YJA-Star destroyed a turkish military vehicle

People’s Defense Forces press office HPG-BIM has reported that YJA-Star guerrillas destroyed a Turkish military vehicle in an action targeting a military convoy in Bitlis on 29 November.

The statement said that the action by Women’s Guerrilla Army YJA Star (Free Women’s Troops) was carried out on a way close to Baykan district of Siirt at around 13.30. The statement remarked that the number of casualties who were taken from the scene with ambulances after the action couldn’t be determined clearly.
